Wintergreen Couch requires full sun (6+ hours daily).
Sir Walter Buffalo thrives with as little as 3–4 hours of sunlight per day.

Sir Walter Buffalo and Empire Zoysia both handle heavy use exceptionally well, making them perfect for families and pets.
Wintergreen Couch is durable too but thrives best in full-sun, open areas.

Empire Zoysia is the lowest maintenance option — slow-growing and requiring less frequent mowing.

What preparation is needed before laying turf?
Clear the area of weeds, debris, and uneven spots, then spread a 50–100 mm layer of quality underturf soil. This helps with drainage and strong root establishment.
Our installation service includes complete ground preparation for best results.
How much should I water new turf?
Water immediately after installation. For the first 2–3 weeks, water daily to keep soil moist. Once roots have established, reduce to 1–2 times per week depending on conditions.
When can I mow my new turf?
Usually after 3–4 weeks, once the turf has firmly rooted. Test by gently pulling a corner — if it resists, it’s ready for a light mow.
Is the turf safe for pets and kids?
Yes — all our turf varieties are completely non-toxic and safe for families and pets. Sir Walter Buffalo and Empire Zoysia are especially soft and ideal for high-use lawns.
Do you offer turf installation and delivery?
Yes — we offer both supply only and supply + laying options. Turf is freshly cut from the farm and delivered directly to your site. We can handle full installation including preparation, underturf soil, and fertiliser.
How long does it take for turf to establish?
Typically around 4–6 weeks depending on temperature, watering, and soil quality. Avoid heavy traffic during this period to help roots take hold.
